OVERVIEW

Language Plus invites you to be an active participant in the Borderlands Course.

This carefully planned course will guide you to explore a broad range of topics on the life and culture of the El Paso, Texas-Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico sister cities border region. An eclectic range of topics is offered for examination, discussion and Spanish practice.

YOU WILL:

Engage in lively, interactive group conversations
Explore daily life, music & arts, traditions, history, religion, food, language, current issues, business, architecture, border challenges, nature, Native American influence, the Wild West
Interact with guest speakers
Watch videos
Have extensive Spanish practice and receive valuable feedback
Be led by instructors with decades of life experience on the border

Online via ZOOM
2 times per week
2.5 hours per class
For 6 weeks (30 hours total)
