Through acquiring essential vocabulary & structures and engaging in substantial in-class practice, this course will help you communicate in a variety of everyday situations:
YOU WILL:
- Introduce yourself, others and strike up a friendly conversation
- Learn facts and get to know people
- Make and go on appointments
- House or apartment search
- Describe your daily routine
- Shop
- Order in a restaurant
- Exchange information on the phone
- Express a need for help in an emergency
- Tell a doctor how you feel
- Make a reservation at a hotel
- Follow and give directions
- Call for home repair -electrician, plumber, repairperson
YOU WILL MEET:
- Online via ZOOM
- 2 times per week
- 2 hours per class
- For 6 weeks (24 hours total)
