SPANISH
THE SPANISH LANGUAGE
Use of the Spanish language is growing steadily around the world and especially here in the US.
In the United States alone, 43 million people speak Spanish as their first language, making it the fifth largest Spanish-speaking country on the planet.*
Our Spanish students are certainly seeing this represented in their communities and work environments. This means they are often relying on interpreters, friends or family to speak with Spanish-speakers in their lives, making them feel disconnected and removed. Sound familiar?
Our students come to us from different backgrounds:
- Healthcare professionals
- Members of religious communities
- Lawyers
- Volunteers/Missionaries
- Teachers
- Law Enforcement
- Factory Managers
- Travelers
- Retired folks
We are experienced in working with learners who have these stories and backgrounds. We are looking forward to helping you build your confidence, achieve your goals and improve your accuracy in Spanish through a communicative approach.
* U.S. is projected to be the largest Spanish-speaking country in the world by 2050. The Hispanic population will reach 132.8 million with 30% using Spanish as their mother tongue.
