Language Plus welcomes you to join us at our friendly institute in sunny El Paso, Texas, to build your confidence in speaking Spanish and help move you closer to achieving your goals!
Our Immersion Program immerses you in Spanish learning, practice and communication all day by combining classes at our institute, community learning experiences around El Paso and Juarez and home-stay accommodations with a local family. 80% of people in El Paso speak Spanish at home, so you are guaranteed to hear it spoken throughout the community as well.
We believe a true immersion language learning experience does not happen exclusively within a physical classroom only. Being guided to stretch your comfort zone, through a variety of opportunities to communicate out in the world at large are also needed.
Therefore, your Immersion Program will consist of:
- In-class sessions with multiple native Spanish-speaking teachers who will sufficiently challenge you in your goal areas
- Instructor-led Community Learning Experiences – mural walks, museum conversations, trips to Ciudad Juarez, cooking classes, sharing home cooked meals.
- Conversing with locals, in their homes and other settings, who can tell you more about border life and teach you to speak like the locals do.
- Home stay accommodations with open and welcoming hosts, who make you feel like part of the family through genuine conversation, delicious meals and social activities with their friends, family.
