OVERVIEW:

America is rich in music genres, history and traditions. As in any country, the music created is intimately connected to the culture and history that shaped its origin and development. Music in turn, is a powerful influence on the national culture and its people.

YOU WILL:

  • Listen to, read, and speak about Pop, Country, Jazz, 80’s music, Gospel/Motown/ Blues, Folk, Rock and Rap/Hip Hop/R&B
  • Explore America’s music, culture & history and their deep connection
  • Be in a group led by a fellow music lover and excellent English instructor
  • Continue growing your English skills, while receiving useful feedback

YOU WILL MEET:

  • Online via ZOOM
  • 2 times per week
  • 2.5 hours per class
  • For 8 weeks (40 hours total)
