  • Develop an understanding of cultural subtleties that make a difference
  • Learn valuable cultural insights to real world situations
  • Build their network and form long-term friendships with interesting fellow executives

Since 1998, we have had more than 1,900 attendees in our Executive Spanish Camp program. Our participants include executives, teachers, government employees, and business owners. They are educated, high-achieving individuals who share a common goal—to make every training moment count! All of our students have a real-world need to speak Spanish and, to that end, we employ the best methodologies and techniques for language training. Our professional instructors know how to help participants perform in the language, rather than just learn grammar rules.

It is impossible to separate language from culture. At Executive Spanish Camp, you benefit from daily presentations on cultural subjects. These formal culture presentations are done in English and focus on the differences in value systems, world view, management styles, and more—topics which frequently cause concern and conflict when two cultures come in close regular contact.

How Much Will I Learn?

The more you learn, the more you want to learn. Most Executive Spanish Camp participants report dramatically increased vocabulary and better structure in their speaking. Others mention improved comprehension when listening. Overall, you definitely build your fluency and self-confidence in the Spanish language—that’s our primary goal!

Instructor-led class time is the key element of Executive Spanish Camp, however it is also important to involve yourself with fellow campers. A great deal of language learning takes place in other settings outside of class—your learning continues during meals, informal conversations, and recreational activities.

Is There Free Time?

When it comes to language training, a week is not a long time and most participants want to use their time at camp for maximum benefit. Therefore, it’s important to keep non-Spanish distractions to a minimum. That said, there are approximately 2 – 3 hours each afternoon for downtime, processing, and reflection.

Spanish Only

In order to maximize the immersion experience, we enforce a Spanish-only policy during camp. This means that with very few exceptions, you are expected to utilize whatever Spanish you know to communicate and not to speak English.
